MyIKG - Wordpress

a public-facing website called "My Ikigai" (myIKG.com) designed to help anyone discover their personal ikigai through a guided, step-by-step process. The site features integration with a custom GPT assistant that provides personalised guidance throughout the discovery journey.

What is Ikigai? Ikigai is a Japanese concept meaning "reason for being" or "purpose in life." It represents the intersection of four key elements:

  • What you love (your passion)

  • What you're good at (your mission)

  • What the world needs (your vocation)

  • What you can be paid for (your profession)

When these four areas overlap, you find your ikigai - that sweet spot where personal fulfillment meets practical sustainability. It's about discovering what makes life worth living and gives you a sense of purpose and direction.

Technical Implementation:

  • Built on WordPress for content management

  • Integrated analytics to track user engagement and geographic usage

  • Custom GPT integration for personalised guidance

  • User-tested design with feedback incorporated to ensure intuitive flow

The project successfully combines the philosophical depth of this Japanese life concept with modern web technology to make personal development accessible to a global audience.
